Finally, I have my website back online. It’s been so long since 2016, and by 2017, my old website was down due to high server latency. I couldn’t afford to rent a new hosting server. All server resources were dedicated to my clients’ websites, and I couldn’t interrupt their services by hosting my files and consuming server resources.
Today, Sunday, 22 September 2024, my website is live again with a new domain name. My previous domain had a Google penalty for over a year. I created this website as a place for contemplation and as a refuge to escape and hide.
Places to Escape and Hide
When hell is on earth, and we have nowhere to run or hide, we can’t even complain or share our pain with those we call friends or family. So, here are a few tips for finding ways to hide:
- Wearing a Mask
I’m not afraid to meet strangers; I worry about encountering people I know. I’m too lazy for unnecessary conversations, and I often wonder if I should smile first or just pretend not to see them. - Hiding Under a Blanket
This method might not stop your mom from hitting you with a wooden stick, but it will provide comfort. Especially after turning off the lights, covering yourself with a blanket, and slowly closing your eyes—eventually, it takes you to the realm of dreams. - Sunnah Fasting
Many of us already know the benefits of fasting. One key benefit is mental strength. For example, I used to be afraid of the dark and ghosts, but after a day of fasting, I no longer fear being alone in a dark room. I continue to observe Sunnah fasting, following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. Fasting has benefited me not only mentally but also physically and spiritually.
Tips for Escaping:
I write blogs and play games as a form of escape. I’ve also created a live-streaming channel on Twitch. When writing my blog, I hide my identity to maintain privacy, allowing me to write freely without worrying about anyone watching or stalking me on my blog or Twitch channel.
